Even teams Leghorn were protagonists in European competitions.Especially the Libertas and Pallacanestro Leghorn have played, a total of 3 times, their match Korac Cup (the trophy in the photo), former European competition which was founded in 1972, has seen its abolition in 2002.
Leghorn, in its small, has played its part in 1984/85 with the formation of Libertas Leghorn sponsored by Birra Peroni, in 1988/89 with the Pallacanestro Leghorn sponsored by Allibert and again in 1989/90 with the Libertas Leghorn sponsored by Enimont.
Then everything ended with the merger, but if they still existed two the two companies, who knows if we would be here to recount only those shares or other equity maybe we would be telling perhaps the most prestigious competitions.
