THE ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS: GAME 2

PHILIPS MILAN v ENICHEM LEGHORN 100-81

PHILIPS MILAN: D'ANTONI 18, PREMIER 19, MENEGHIN 9, MCADOO 20, KING 2, ALDI 7, PITTIS 9, PESSINA 2, MONTECCHI 14, BALDI. COACH: FRANCO CASALINI

ENICHEM LEGHORN: TONUT 17, FANTOZZI 18, ALEXIS 11, CARERA 14, FORTI 13, WOOD 7, DE RAFFAELE 1, PIETRINI. N.E.: TEDESCHI E PELLETTI. COACH: ALBERTO BUCCI

MILAN - Enichem repeats some of the bad inconsistent performance in the semi-final second leg against Knorr Bologna, and allows Milan to return to full equality in race wins in the final. Philips has built its success on defense zone "1-3-1", which completely paralyzed the penetration of "Gialloblu" and simultaneously punished by the Premier of penetration is that of McAdoo. The game was already closed when we were only 3 minutes at the end of the first portion of the game because Milan were leading by 21 points. Bucci (Leghorn's coach) has reviewed something in the locker room in the mechanisms of Enichem and the team in the second half appeared more lucid and consistent. Alexis is moved while strong Premier mounts guard on Pittis. The results have been excellent, thanks to skilful counterattacks carried out by the Fantozzi are based in Leghorn scored a partial 9 to 2 that could also open the game. But after 2 minutes and 30 seconds is the fourth foul whistled Alessandro Fantozzi forcing Alberto Bucci to call him immediately on the bench. The team brings back the handbrake and Philips can live for a pension because in the meantime, the show begins D'Antoni, free from the close marking of Leghorn's captain, who puts a bomb after the other and numerous assists that help hosts to regain the +20. The last 10 minutes of race have anything to say now: Milan firmly hold the match in hand and lead you in perfect equality in the races.
