DAVID WOOD
David Wood was born in Spokane (USA) in November 30, 1964.
He has played in Italy, Spain, France and United States in the CBA and in the NBA.
In Italy he has played with the shirt of Libertas Leghorn in the 1988/89 season where he repleced, with a contract with coins, Joe Binion. With the "gialloblu" of Libertas Leghorn has played the now infamous championship finals againts Olimpia Milan.
The following season, before returing to play in NBA (he also played with the Chicago Bulls), plays with Barcelona in Spain in 1989/90 season. In 1990/91 plays with Houston Rockets ad again in 1991/92 returned to play in Spain with Saski Baskonia.
In 1992/93 returns to play in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons (1993/94), Golden State Warriors (1994/96), Phoenix Suns (1996), Dallas Mavericks (1996), Milwaukee Bucks (1996/97).
In 1998 he returned in Europe, first in Spain with CB Malaga and then with Murcia.
In 1999 he moved to France where he played in Limoges. After returning back to Spain where he played with the Gran Canaria (2000) and the Fuenlabrada (2000/2003).
In 2007, playing his last season in the CBA with the Reno Sharpshooters.
In 1998 he also won the bronze medal at the World Basketball Championship with the US national team along with another former player of the Libertas Leghorn, Wendell Alexis.
David Wood has played with the Liberta Leghorn (pictured) 16 games and scored 168 points and played 345 minutes.
He retired in 2007.
