ZAN TABAK (BAKER LEGHORN)

ZAN TABAK
Zan Tabak was born in Split (Croatia), June 19, 1970, played professionally in Europe and in the NBA.
He began his career in his home town team, the Jugoplastica Split. With the yellow-black won 3 cups of the samples in the 1989, 1990 and 1991.
His professional career outside Croatia began in Italy in Leghorn when to wear the shirt of Baker Leghorn in the season 1992/93 (the team born from the merger of Libertas and Pallacanestro Leghorn).
Tabak was the only right choice of Leghorn's leadership in 3 years in which the team has existed merged.
So apt that the following season (1993/94) Olimpia Milan can take it away from Leghorn. In Milan remain only 1 season because next year makes a big jump and fly in the NBA.
Was hired by the Houston Rockets (1994/95) which immediately wins the NBA title. The following season he moved to Toronto where he plays with Raptors until 1998 (his longer stay in an NBA team).
In 1998 he played 18 games with the Boston Celtics before moving to Turkey to play with Fenerbache (1998/99).
In 1999 he returned and played in the NBA with Indiana Pacers where remained until 2001.
In 2001 back in the old world and arrives at Real Madrid. In 2002 he moved to the Juventud Badalona, where he played until 2004.
In 2005, playing his last season in Malaga.
He retires in 2005.  Attached his boats begane his coaching career in the role of first-assistant to Real Madrid from 2007 to 2009, then in Seville 2009/2010. Since 2011, coach of Girone.
During his career he also won a silver medal at the Barcelona Olympics games in 1992 behind the original Dream Team and the bronze medal at the 1993 Europeans in Germany.
With the shirt of Baker Leghorn has played 32 games, scoring 478 points, winning by playing 1095 minutes and 323 rebounds.
